New video solution lets publishers embed a full video library, carousels and shorts directly into their existing site, then scale into monetisation and live streaming as they grow.

BERGEN, Norway — September 8th, 2026 — Vimond, the Bergen-based video and streaming technology company, will preview Entry at IBC2026, a new video solution for organisations that want to use video more strategically on their website.

Today's viewers expect video wherever they browse, and publishers who don't use it more actively on their own website risk losing that attention to platforms that do. Entry keeps video on the customer's own site and cloud platform from the start, giving them full control of the experience they offer their audience.

Entry brings the full power of the Vimond video content management system to any website. Video is uploaded, organised, and managed in one place, then published straight to the existing site through embeddable players: single videos, shorts, and full video carousels, added to the homepage, articles, or any other page with ease.

Entry is designed to grow with the customer. It sits at the base of Vimond's tier ladder, alongside Essentials, Essentials Live and Unlimited, and every feature added at Entry level carries forward as the business grows, from simply embedding video, to a fully hosted streaming destination, to live channels, to a fully custom platform, all without re-platforming.

A key part of the Entry offering is its advertising add-on, integrated with Google Ad Manager. Combined with Entry, it gives customers complete control over their content, publishing and the revenue their video generates, running their own advertising rather than handing that revenue, and the audience data behind it, to a third-party platform.

"Entry is about giving publishers control of their content and revenue streams they are often giving away for free today," said Fredrik Gunnestad, CEO of Vimond. "When a customer owns the platform, the content and the ad integration, they keep the revenue their video earns instead of handing a large share of it to someone else's platform."

Vimond will showcase Entry on stand 5.F92 at IBC2026, held at the RAI Amsterdam from 11 to 14 September 2026.
